First off, the chair itself is rock solid. Made of good strong materials. The lumbar support is OK, but nothing to write home about. That said, it’s missing a few things that seem so obvious.1. when sitting ‘upright’ (no recline engaged), there is still a degree or two of travel, as opposed to having a solid back with no movement when locked forward. This makes it so I cannot simply sit straight in the chair like any other chair, but instead have movement.2. The wheels are junk. For such a high end chair, I would have expected more. They jam up, they don’t rotate nicely. I’m replacing those tomorrow.3. The motion of the arms and back (up and down) are very simple and smooth, but they also don’t lock into position. This means that with every little bump, the arms are moving around. And if you pull the backrest up too far, it slides back to the bottom position and you’re pulling it up again trying to find the right height. Super annoying. Again, why not put in a locking mechanism?4. The height adjustment travel is very limited. I’m 73 inches tall and the very top of the piston is where I can get to a 90 degree bend in my legs. Why not just a little more travel on the piston?I’m going to keep the chair, but I recommend you keep looking. If you’re taller than 6’1′ (73 inches), go elsewhere, this one is not for you.
